Corporate meetings
technology startup Groupize has added industry veterans to its executive and
advisory roster. Jay Reilly joined Groupize as vice president of corporate
sales, coming off a stint at AirPlus and more than two decades at Lanyon and
StarCite. Michael Boult, vice
president of Travel Leaders’ Business Travel center of Excellence and former senior
executive at both Lanyon and StarCite, joined the Groupize board. Todd Tyler—former
president, CEO, director and owner of Lanyon—signed on as an advisor to the
company. Tyler currently serves as an investor, director and advisor to
high-growth software-as-a-service companies, concentrating on hospitality
technology, including corporate travel hotel rate-shopping tool TripBam. Groupize,
which offers streamlined technology for sourcing and organizing small corporate
meetings, plans integrations with Concur and Travelport in 2017.
