Black car company GroundLink has created two new dashboards for
travel managers: events and analytics.
The events dashboard integrates with Brio, the company's
mobile app, and is available on the web, smartphones and tablets. It enables
event planners to receive alerts 10 minutes before GroundLink drops off
passengers so the planners can meet attendees upon arrival. The dashboard also
enables event planners to monitor and modify rides and to download real-time manifests.
The events dashboard also offers a car-sharing option.
In addition, it offers travel managers consolidated views so
they can see more rides at once, and planners can sort by arrival, departure
and transfer. They also can book their own event-related rides with invoices
that are separate from participants' travel, as participant travel might be
billed to a different division or company. Invoices also now have four
different payment options.
The tool allows passengers to arrange their own pickups and
drop-offs and allows event planners to push out SMS messages to passengers with
drivers' names, vehicle types, license plate numbers and phone numbers; no app
is necessary.
The analytics dashboard allows travel managers to review data
on excessive wait times or late cancellations, which enables them to reinforce
travel policies with their users. Improved reporting also enables clients to view
their spend in any time period over the past 18 months by their top five
markets, by booking trends, by cancellations, by wait time and by aggregated
spend. GroundLink previously provided this information for clients, but clients
now can access it themselves. They also will be able to identify their top 10
passengers in each category.
