American Express Meetings & Events has launched its Meetings Ground Transportation platform, using technology from global ground transportation provider miMeetings. The service will enable Amex M&E, a division of American Express Global Business Travel, to manage flight manifests and group transportation needs for meetings and events, and claims to minimize flight manifest errors, group attendees to eliminate unnecessary rides and source from multiple ground suppliers. Meetings Ground Transportation currently is available for all Amex M&E clients. Meetings technology company Cvent also announced a partnership with miMeetings earlier this week.
