Meetings and group accommodation platform Hubli has launched
a virtual card payments solution developed with fintech company Conferma. Called
EasyPay, it aims to address inefficiencies in how corporate travel and events
teams handle payments to hotels and venues.
According to Hubli’s research, payment and expense
management are among the top challenges for both corporate buyers and hotels. EasyPay
allows companies to issue virtual cards for individual bookings, offering
greater control and transparency while ensuring timely payments to venues.
Hubli CEO Ciaran Delaney underscored the solution’s “fast,
easy payment combined with automated reconciliation and expense.” Conferma
chief commercial officer Sonya Geelon added it “was built around the needs of
both buyers and suppliers—giving finance teams better reporting while freeing
up venue partners to focus on service delivery instead of payment admin.”
The introduction of EasyPay reflects a broader industry
shift toward streamlining operational inefficiencies in meetings and events,
and digital payment solutions are likely to play a key role.
