Event booking platform EventUp has expanded beyond the
United States into seven new markets, the company announced. The service now is
available in Australia, Canada, England, Ireland, New Zealand, Scotland and
Wales. The platform has more than 15,000 venues in its directory, including
hotels, restaurants and alternative spaces, such as bowling alleys, gardens and
residential mansions.
Event management platform Tripleseat acquired EventUp, which
was founded in 2011, when it merged with Gather Technologies last year. It
relaunched EventUp in August.
