Small meetings platform Bizly has partnered with private dining and events specialist Tripleseat to boost its venue options for groups. Bizly's meeting space and event inventory once focused largely on unique and boutique hotel options, but has grown to encompass 10,000 hotels, restaurants, activity venues and conference centers across
the country. The partnership adds a new spate of restaurants and hospitality venues with private dining to Bizly's platform. Inquiries for Tripleseat venues will pass to Tripleseat through the Bizly portal. Final reservations and payment will happen through the Bizly platform.
"Private dining events have always been a challenge for our Fortune 500 customers," said Bizly CEO Ron Shah. "There have been tremendous inefficiencies around finding the right venue and booking in compliance to policy. Our partnership with Tripleseat helps deliver the highest-quality venue options, along with a consistent booking experience, every time." Tripleseat will leverage the partnership to access Bizly's enterprise event planners.
It's a move that echoes, on a smaller scale, Cvent's Kapow acquisition, which was announced and closed today. The deals underscore the growing demand for unique attendee experiences in today's meetings market.
