American Express Meetings & Events has enhanced its
business intelligence platform Meetings Insights, using real-time data served
by APIs and a self-service approach with customizable reports and dashboards,
the company announced.
Reports are organized into five themes: spend and savings,
program, supplier, travel and meetings, and benchmarking. The latter uses Amex
M&E’s aggregated client data to provide program context.
The new capabilities give clients “greater visibility into
what’s happening within their strategic meetings program… [to support] data-driven
decisions that maximize savings and meetings program ROI,” Amex Meetings &
Events VP of global strategy and business enablement Noelia Herranz said in a
news release.
