Altour has named new VPs to lead global MICE sales and product management as part of a slate of new hires, the travel management company announced Thursday.
The TMC has hired Matthew Jones as VP of product management, in charge of shaping the TMC's technology portfolio and leading strategy and innovation for Altour. Jones has previously had technology and innovation roles at KesselRun Corporate Travel Solutions, Travelport and BCD Travel, from which he brings "experience in launching large-scale platforms and driving digital transformation," according to Altour.
Bill Lemmon—a sales leader at MCI for more than 12 years, most recently as VP of sales for strategic events, meetings and incentives—now is Altour's VP of global sales for MICE. The company said he will help strengthen Altour's position in the MICE sector "and support clients in creating meaningful, result-driven events."
In addition, Altour announced Chantal Wulf as VP of partner management. Wulf's experience includes eight years of sales leadership at American Express and more than 15 years with Hertz. Altour also announced the hiring of Brett Lindsey as senior director of sales and Nina Marcello as senior director of hotel content sourcing and adoption.
All the newly announced hires have already started in their roles over the past several months.
