Travel technology provider Wenrix has launched an AI execution layer for travel servicing, capable of automating complex tasks for travel management companies, the company announced.
The offering, Wenrix DeepFlow, is capable of automating most post-booking tasks—including refunds, exchanges, disruptions, waivers, ancillaries and no-shows—with a synchronization to TMC mid- and back-office systems. Those capabilities solve an "execution gap" with AI servicing, as AI tools can understand requests but, without the execution layer, cannot complete it across fragmented connections including EDIFACT, New Distribution Capability and airline direct connects, according to Wenrix.
DeepFlow's capabilities are based on agent actions across more than 60 TMCs and online travel agencies, according to Wenrix. Pia Vemmelund, CCO of OTA Etraveli Group, in a statement said the solution "cracked servicing edge cases no other tech partner could touch and fully automated." The automation had an accuracy level of 93 percent, according to Vemmelund.
Wenrix last week was named the runner-up at Phocuswright's Innovate: Launch competition.
