Women in Travel, WINiT, has changed its name to WINiT for
Women, effective immediately. The organization began as a group of both women
and men who support the advancement of women in managed travel. WINiT executive
director and COO Dawn Repoli said the organization has moved beyond that scope
to now welcome professionals in meetings and exhibitions. "This [new
branding] leaves us limitless," she said. "We can bring all new industries
into what we are doing here, use our best practices and lessons learned from
other industries to continue to grow." Repoli announced the name change on
Sunday at the WINiT Summit 2018 in New York City.
