Uber for Business now offers profile recommendations that
tap into data from the billions of trips it processes annually to predict the
purpose of a trip and whether the traveler should be using his or her personal
or business profile. Early estimates show the predictions are correct about 80
percent of the time, according to Uber.
In addition, Uber for Business has added a trip reviewer
feature, with which travel buyers can designate reviewers for teams and
employees within a company to flag trips that seem to be non-business-related.
Travelers can resolve flagged trips within the app, rather than relying on
email notifications, as Uber had done in the past.
Expense Integrations
In September, Uber will integrate with five new expense
supplier partners: Expensya, Happay, Rydoo, Zeno by Serko and Zoho Expense. The
integrations enable employees to import trip receipts to those expense
platforms automatically. Uber already integrates with Certify, Chrome River,
Concur and Expensify.
