American Express Global Business Travel and CWT both
announced yesterday new appointments to senior revenue management positions. GBT has promoted
Michael Qualantone to chief revenue officer, reporting directly to CEO Paul
Abbot. Qualantone steps up from his prior role as executive VP global supplier
relations. In his new role, he will partner with incoming chief commercial
officer Drew Crawley to accelerate the company's sales growth, while also
assuming leadership of the pricing team. Qualantone has also served in a
leadership role for Amex GBT's M&E business, a function that he will keep
as chief revenue officer.
CWT has appointed David Pitts VP revenue management and
global supplier management, reporting to SVP global supplier management Brian
Mogler. Pitts will lead revenue management and data analytics strategy for CWT.
Prior to joining the supplier management team, Pitts led traveler experience
strategic planning for the company.
