BCD Travel will launch an Alexa tool for trip management platform TripSource in September, allowing TripSource clients' travelers to speak to Alexa to request trip details, such as arrival and departure dates and times, hotel confirmation information and rental car pickup addresses. The voice extension will be available globally in English. BCD expects to introduce the same capabilities on Google Assistant by the end of the year and on Apple's Siri early next year. The travel management company also plans to extend voice capabilities to trip planning and booking after seeing how travelers engage with the platform.
