Half of corporate travel policies globally allow
ride-hailing services like Uber and Lyft, according to the Global Business
Travel Association Business Traveler Sentiment Index. Acceptance has risen 6
percentage points since June 2016. Fewer policies, 30 percent, allow home-sharing
services like Airbnb and HomeAway. The survey, conducted in partnership with
American Express, tabulated responses from 3,220 business travelers in
Australia, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Mexico, the U.K. and the U.S.
