In September, Travel Leaders Corporate will offer a white-labeled duty of care offering, powered by Stabilitas, to U.S.- and Canada-based clients. Travel Leaders Corporate president Gabe Rizzi said his company has automated data integration to streamline implementation of the solution, which it calls Care.
Travel Leaders Corporate previously supported third-party duty of care solutions and still will, though Care is Travel Leaders Corporate's "preferred" solution, Rizzi said.
Stabilitas aggregates an average of 60,000 items a day—from analysts, government sources, social media, online newspapers and trusted foreign governments—and a machine learning algorithm assesses severity, parses the locations and categorizes them, according to Rizzi. The system confirms that multiple sources are reporting incidents then emails and texts clients—whether security, risk, HR or travel managers—instantly when emergencies occurring near companies' travelers or facilities.
That feature, along with status report emails about impacted travelers, forms the basis of Care's Essentials tier.
Care Plus additionally includes gives managers and travelers mobile app access to online pre-trip risk advisories and to global alerts. Travelers can use the app to check in and post their statuses and locations, and managers can communicate with travelers via email, text or the app.An interactive desktop dashboard for managers displays both incidents and traveler whereabouts.
Care Premium also provides not just destination alerts to travelers but also home-base alerts to employees, makes the app available to non-travelers and offers insurance; medical assistance; emergency travel services like a visit from a family member or friend; security assistance; enhanced travel risk management like customized pre-trip intelligence; emergency response; and executive evacuation and protection.
