The Travel and Meeting Society has added eight new members to its board of directors, bringing its total board size to 15 members, the nonprofit organization announced.
Among the new board members is Fresenius Medical Care senior director and head of travel and meetings Colleen Kearney, who also has been serving as interim executive director for TAMS. The organization is conducting a search for a permanent executive director. Its previous executive director Phyllis Tess announced her departure earlier this year.
Other newly elected board members include: Drvn partnerships and brand manager Ben Berard, KesselRun Consulting managing partner Michael Brennan, Cornerstone Information Systems global travel administrator Bobbi Huber, Okta global travel manager Kathy Kaden, Amadeus head of sales for North America Kathy Karlesses, HRS Group SVP of partner and alliances Will Pinnell and Superhuman manager of global travel and events Kristin Thaler.
They join current board members Kerin McKinnon of Corporate Travel Management, who is the board's chair; Bio-Rad's Ted Cullen, whom the board named vice chair; Trex's Garth Jopling; Sector Micro Consulting's Chris Kanieski; Kayak for Business' Susan Lichtenstein; Belm Agency's Mary-Jo Lake; and former Airlines Report Corp. CEO Mike Premo.
The newly added board members are serving 18-month terms with TAMS.
