Sitata has relaunched its travel health and safety app to
better serve the corporate travel sector. The company serves corporates
directly, and its services also are available for resale by travel management
companies. With the updates, travelers now can connect with over 100 doctors in
10 countries for clinic visits, house calls or telemedicine at any point during
a trip. They also can receive chat-based assistance from an in-house call
center for emergencies from lost passports to legal and health advice.
Sitata monitors flights for delays and cancellations for
itineraries uploaded in the app. Thanks to the app's new GPS capabilities, users
now can receive location-relevant risk alerts and send location updates to
their companies or their companies' designated contacts. Users also can set up
privacy zones; for a certain distance around such an address, Sitata will not
collect any GPS information on that user. Companies that subscribe to Sitata's
traveler tracking software, called Radar, can gain receive visibility on all their
travelers' locations, automate safety check-ins and send push notifications or
SMS messages to their travelers.
