Travel industry research firm Phocuswright has appointed Simon Lehmann president, effective Nov. 1. Lehmann has 25 years of strategic and operating experience focused on travel and technology. As president, he will build on the strength of Phocuswright’s research and events to expand the company’s global reach. Lehmann most recently served as CEO of Biketec AG and Interhome AG. He also held executive roles at Swissport and Hotelplan Group and was a board member of HomeAway, Inntopia and Travel.ch. Phocuswright, like BTN, is owned by Northstar Travel Group.
