Garth Jopling joined corporate travel consultancy Nina & Pinta as partner. Based in Toronto, he will consult on sourcing of airlines, hotels, meetings, ground transportation, online booking tools, expense tools and travel management companies for clients in North America. He also will help clients use the consultancy's proprietary air data dashboard and help suppliers and buyers use its training programs for procurement, customer service, travel policy and travel management. He has over 25 years of corporate travel sourcing experience, including as Canada travel manager for PwC and client sourcing consultant for IBM Global Process Services practice.
Fellow travel management consultancy Festive Road appointed Katie Virtue to its North America travel and meetings team to support travel buyers. Virtue previously served as director of strategic partner development at Omnia Partners, and she also has managed the travel vertical for the group purchasing organization Corporate United.
