BCD Travel has appointed Partnership Travel Consulting founder and CEO Andrew Menkes to the new role of SVP of global client solutions, effective Monday. Menkes will grow global market share and work with clients and prospects on travel polices, selecting risk management services, choosing corporate payment solutions and navigating other buyer challenges. He will report to BDC global COO and Americas president Mike Janssen. BTN named Menkes Travel Manager of the Year in 1999, placed him among the 25 Most Influential in 1998 and 2000 and named him to the Business Travel Hall of Fame in 2014. Partnership Travel Consulting, which Menkes founded in 2001, will wind down.
