Host travel agency and travel distributor InteleTravel has developed a business travel booking and travel management platform building off several of the acquisitions the company has made over the past several years, the company announced.
The platform, BusinessTravel.com, was designed for small and midsized companies and includes an embedded AI booking assistant to help find flights, hotels and cars that best meet travelers' needs, according to InteleTravel. Other features include centralized reporting, one-click booking support and an AI-supported chat box.
"All InteleTravel partners" are providing content and services for the platform, including corporate travel consortium Hickory Global Partners, which the company acquired in 2023 and contributes corporate rates and negotiated savings, the company said. It also incorporates meetings and event management via MGME, which InteleTravel acquired in 2024, and access to events and experiences through booking platform Tickitto.
The platform "is an imperative next step in our development as a travel distributor," InteleTravel CEO James Ferrara said in a statement. "Through our continued growth in the past years, we are now able to create new resources for the corporate travel space that encompass all the companies under the InteleTravel umbrella."
InteleTravel said it will be offering access to BusinessTravel.com to all its advisors, including Hickory, in the coming weeks. Former Rocketrip president Kim Andreello, who InteleTravel hired last year as VP of corporate development and strategy, is president of BusinessTravel.com.
