Kevin Coffey has joined GoldSpring Consulting as a senior consultant to lead a new traveler safety and risk management service line. Coffey is a retired police officer and detective with the Los Angeles Police Department, a duty of care and risk management professional and a consultant on traveler safety and risk reduction for the hospitality, tourism and meetings industries. He founded the Los Angeles Airport's crime investigation detail and is an instructor with the Safe Communities Institute within the University of Southern California's Sol Price School of Public Policy.
