Fox World Travel will pilot clients' self-service use of its Cognition business intelligence platform this month. For the past several months, the travel management company has employed the system, powered by Domo, to review key performance indicators during business review consultations with clients. Cognition collects data from transactions, itineraries, traveler sentiment and other real-time data feeds; analyzes it and turns it into "actionable insights for our clients to apply," said Fox chief information officer Sam Hilgendorf. In self-service form, Cognition will serve as an "add-on functionality for clients who either want anytime access, have unique KPIs that they'd like to build their own visualizations on, or want to incorporate a supplementary data feed into the platform," Hilgendorf said.
