Matthew Minielly and John Coffman get new roles at Direct Travel
Direct Travel has appointed Matthew Minielly as the
travel management company’s new chief financial officer.
The TMC said that its long-time CFO John Coffman was moving
to the newly created role of chief corporate development and business officer.
Direct Travel, which acquired ATPI last year, is currently in the process
of rolling out its Spotnana-based
Avenir corporate travel platform globally.
Minielly was most recently CFO at tech platform Partnerize
and previously held roles at Allintus and Cunningham Lindsey.
“Matthew joins us at a pivotal moment as our Avenir global
corporate travel platform continues to scale,” said Christal Bemont, CEO of
Direct Travel. “His experience leading complex, growth-oriented organizations
will strengthen our ability to execute at enterprise level.”
Coffman, who had been Direct Travel’s CFO for more than 10
years, will now focus on corporate development, mergers and
acquisition strategy, and “enterprise portfolio alignment” across its global
businesses.
“John’s leadership has been foundational to who we are
today,” added Bemont. “His strategic depth and broad operational perspective
make him uniquely suited to guide our enterprise development as we continue to
expand.”
