Nonprofit and academic travel management specialist DGI has launched a new technology platform with seven modules covering the travel journey from pre-approval through reconciliation, the travel management company announced.
Recently rebranded from Diversity Travel, DGI developed its Ethos platform to "[connect] the dots across the full travel journey, uniting policy, approval, booking and payment to create real organizational efficiency and visibility," DGI CEO Christopher Airey said in a statement. Modules in the platform include EthosSync for integrations, EthosProtect for duty of care, EthosInsight for analytics, EthosSelect for global content, EthosBook for bookings, EthosGo for in-trip travel management and EthosControl for workflows and policy.
The platform also builds on DGI's Green Travel Toolkit, providing enhanced carbon reporting, hotel sustainability ratings and options to switch from air to rail travel, the TMC said. For cybersecurity, it includes such protections as multi-factor authentication to reduce the risk of breaches.
DGI said it designed Ethos for "continuous development," including API integrations to enable it to evolve with client and supplier technologies.
