Concur Travel now can display branded fare content from Air
France, Air New Zealand, American Airlines, British Airways, Delta
and Lufthansa. That capability also makes it much easier for travel managers to
hide basic economy fares as their travelers shop in the Concur Travel booking
tool. Concur SVP Doug Anderson explained that the process was much more
convoluted, often requiring Concur assistance, before the ability to segment
out branded content.
Other Concur Updates
TripLink
Meanwhile, WestJet has signed on to become a Concur TripLink
partner and will go live at a later date.
Risk Management
Concur has changed the name of its Concur
Risk Messaging platform to Concur Locate. The service assembles travel
itinerary data, expense data, corporate card feeds, TripIt and TripLink data,
and e-receipts from suppliers that feed directly into Concur so travel managers
can track and communicate with travelers. Though previously announced, Concur has
just made live both Locate and the related Concur Active Monitoring, an
HX-Global powered service that can monitor and communicate with travelers 24/7
as needed.
Virtual Cards
Concur
also has streamlined the behind-the-scenes process to pay for bookings with
Conferma virtual cards. Previously, a corporate's travel management company had
to work through the Compleat mid-office travel agent software. Now, a TMC does
not need to be wired to facilitate that transaction. A traveler whose company
is a client of both Concur and Conferma and whose TMC partners with Conferma can
use Conferma virtual cards to pay for hotels booked from a global distribution
system. Anderson said GDS air bookings and direct connect air bookings will
follow within six months.
