Sachin Sekhri
Travel data specialist Clarasight has appointed former BCD Travel executive Sachin Sekhri as strategic accounts director with a focus on expanding the company's presence across North America, the company announced Wednesday.
Sekhri most recently acted as BCD's VP of global sales, leading strategic growth initiatives with large multinational clients. He previously held senior commercial leadership roles at Oversee, Egencia and IBM, supporting global enterprise travel and expense programs.
Clarasight co-founder and CEO Adam Braun in a statement said Sekhri's "experience partnering with many of the world’s most sophisticated enterprise travel programs will be invaluable as we continue helping organizations bring greater efficiency, automation, and intelligence to their travel operations."
Clarasight launched in 2021 as a carbon planning tool and recently broadened its AI-powered platform to bring together data on business travel spending, supplier performance and policy compliance. The company intends to grow its footprint across North America and Europe, and added a strategic accounts director for the U.K. and Europe earlier this year.
