Annette Cumming
BTP Automation co-founder Annette Cumming has joined data engineering and analytics provider Cerebri AI as SVP of business development, Cerebri AI announced on Tuesday.
In her new role at Cerebri AI, Cumming will work to build alliances with travel, expense and procurement partners and will accelerate the company's go-to market execution, according to the company. "Annette's expertise in developing strategic relationships that drive significant growth will broaden our reach and strengthen our ecosystem" Cerebri AI CEO Jean Belanger said in a statement.
Cumming said BTP Automation, which was founded in 2022 and provides an automated platform for hotel sourcing and request-for-proposal management, would continue to operate independently as she joins Cerebri AI. Besides her work with BTP Automation, Cumming also worked as VP of sales for Deem and was head of hospitality and digital strategy for the Americas at Travelport.

In addition, Cerebri AI announced that it has named Matthew Beck as its chief product officer. Beck joined Cerebri AI last year as its VP of customer solutions, according to his LinkedIn profile, and he previously has worked in product and engineering roles at Serko, Travelport, Deem, GetThere and Sabre. Belanger said his "domain knowledge will speed our evolution into fully agentic solutions that don't just analyze spend but actively manage and improve it."
