At the BTN Group's eighth annual Business Travel Hall of Fame event Monday night, four honorees joined the Hall of Fame Class of 2018. They join 37 other Business Travel Hall of Fame members.
- Former Association of Corporate Travel Executives president and HP travel manager Earl Foster inducted former Hewlett-Packard travel manager Fred Swaffer, who died in 2015.
- Omega World Travel VP and executive director Betsy Amos inducted Omega World Travel founder Gloria Bohan.
- Freeman vice chair Carrie Freeman Parsons inducted Mick Lee, WINiT founder and former corporate buyer at Credit Suisse and Citibank.
- Hyatt Hotels Corp. president & CEO Mark Hoplamazian inducted Hyatt Hotels executive chairman Tom Pritzker.
Additionally, American Express Global Commercial Services VP of the Global Client Group Lydie Colleoc presented the American Express Global Commercial Services Scholarship to Aryn Lee, a member of the class of 2019 in the hospitality program at New York University’s Jonathan M. Tisch Center for Hospitality and Tourism, concentrating in tourism management.
United Airlines SVP of worldwide sales Dave Hilfman presented the United Airlines Scholarship to Zihan (Estelle) Wang, a member of the class of 2020. She's concentrating in hotel and tourism management.
