BCD Travel will enable users of its trip management platform, TripSource, to shop and book air content in the coming months. Users will be able to search for air content from all global distribution systems, starting with Amadeus and Sabre, and from low-cost carriers. They'll be able to see baggage fees, seat mapping, in-flight meal options and Wi-Fi availability. The air feature also includes customizable policy and approval controls. The capability will initially be available to clients in the U.S., U.K., Belgium, France, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. BCD also plans to make this feature available for car rental content by the end of the year and rail in early 2019. In addition, users now can shop and book hotels on smartphones, tablet and voice-enabled digital assistants and can access their company's preferred online booking tools directly through TripSource.
