BCD Travel has promoted Thane Jackson to SVP of global distribution strategy. He has worked for BCD for over 20 years, most recently as VP of global distribution and channel strategy, leading short- and long-term distribution strategies, as well as the supplier relations team in the U.K. and Ireland. He continues those responsibilities and also now is tasked with bringing clarity to distribution, including the International Air Transport Association's New Distribution Capability initiative and associated programs, new ways of booking ancillaries, relationships with global distribution system and online booking providers and emerging distribution channels. He reports to EVP of global supplier relations and strategic sourcing Rose Stratford.
BCD also promoted Lesley O'Bryan to SVP of travel management consultancy Advito. She takes over the day-to-day operations of Advito from BCD SVP of hotels April Bridgeman and will report to Bridgeman. O'Bryan previously served as Advito principal and VP. Since joining in 2013, she has built up several practices, including Advito's traveler engagement practice, and has consistently led the consultancy in sales volume.
