American Express Global Business Travel sales
manager Jorge Rojas will oversee the travel management company's new Bogota,
Colombia, office, which is slated to open in the fourth quarter with 10 to 15
client management and sales employees. While Amex GBT will own and operate the
office, Expreso Viajes y Turismo will continue to provide call center services
to customers within the Latin America region, said Gerardo Tejado, Amex GBT
vice president and general manager for Latin America. Amex GBT's Buenos Aires
and Mexico City offices have similar partners. Once the Bogota office opens, it
will join the Buenos Aires and Mexico City offices in serving Amex GBT's more
than 1,000 clients in Latin America, according to the TMC.
