Corporate travel management company Adelman will email dining recommendations and last-minute-reservation availabilities to its clients' travelers on the day each one departs for a trip. Online reservation service Table8 partners with restaurants to set aside tables for Table8 Dining Club members, so it has a line on real-time availabilities. "Business travelers often don’t make dinner plans or reservations more than a few days before their trip," said Adelman chief information officer Ivan Imana. "By this time the best restaurants are already full." Table8 also will refine its restaurant recommendations based on proximity to travelers' hotels. Table8 plans more TMC partnerships this year.
