Former ATPCO CEO Alex Zoghlin has joined hospitality industry revenue management technology firm Duetto as CEO, effective immediately, the company said.
Duetto offers hotels automated tools and predictive analytics designed to assist their pricing and revenue management strategies. Zoghlin replaces David Woolenberg, who served as Duetto CEO for six years and will remain with the company "during a transitional period to ensure continuity and support a seamless handover," Duetto said in a statement.
"The hospitality industry is undergoing a period of rapid transformation, driven by shifting guest expectations, increased operational costs, and economic volatility," Zoghlin said in a statement. "Hoteliers need more innovative, more robust, and more effective technology solutions to meet their needs."
Zoghlin this month announced his departure from airline-owned fare-filing and data services company ATPCO, which he had led as CEO since 2021. He also was one of the founders of Orbitz and direct-connect provider G2 SwitchWorks and has hotel industry experience as a former global head of innovation and technology at Hyatt Hotels Corp.
Zoghlin was named as one of BTN's 25 Most Influential of 2022 due to his work at ATPCO.
