Geoff Ballotti
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts CEO Geoff Ballotti is undergoing treatment for multiple myeloma, a form of bone cancer, the company disclosed Monday in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Ballotti, 64, plans to continue working "largely as normal" during the treatment period, which began last week.
In a letter to Wyndham team members shared as part of the SEC filing, Ballotti said the "highly treatable" cancer was caught early and, though he would "pull back on travel," he intends to stay "fully engaged."
In the same filing, Wyndham announced Christopher Androski as its new chief accounting officer following the departure of Nicola Rossi earlier this month. Androski previously served as SVP and controller and has been with Wyndham for 18 years.
