Apartment-style accommodation provider and platform WhyHotel
has acquired The Cadence in Nashville in partnership with Gaw Capital USA, and
the building will become a WhyHotel Hospitality Living property, the company
announced. Located in the city's Midtown neighborhood, it will include 193
units. The property will open to long-term guests beginning later this month
and is set to be available to transient guests beginning in January 2022.
In late October, the company announced its first property in
New York City, at Front and Wall streets in the Financial District, in
partnership with the Rudin Family, the building's owner. It opened on Nov. 1,
and WhyHotel is operating the property as a mix of short-term stays and
longer-term resident leases.
WhyHotel also operates more than 100 units in Miami, nearly
250 across two buildings in Washington, D.C., and 537 units in Tysons Corner,
Va.
