Small Luxury Hotels of the World has launched an initiative that enhances its hotel members' health and safety guidelines, the organization announced Tuesday. Dubbed "Stay Small, Stay Safe," the SLH program partnered with the Global Biorisk Advisory Council for its hotels to pursue GBAC STAR accreditation, which is a cleaning, disinfection and infectious disease prevention program. In addition, SLH has updated its quality assurance policy 700-point mystery inspection program with an additional 136 checkpoints related to health, safety and cleanliness standards. Nearly 330 of SLH's 520 member hotels have reopened, with many preparing to reopen in the coming weeks, the company said.
