Radisson Hotel Group on Monday announced the appointment of Jim Alderman as CEO for the Americas. Alderman has 34 years of hospitality experience, most recently serving as EVP for Extended Stay Americas, where he started the company's franchising group. Prior to ESA he held leadership positions with Kimpton Hotels, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, Starwood Capital and InterContinental Hotels Group.
Alderman will be based in the company's U.S. headquarters in Minnetonka, Minn., and will be responsible for the corporate offices and more than 680 hotels in the company's Americas portfolio. He will report to Federico González, chairman of the global steering committee for Radisson, as the representative of the company's board of directors.
Ken Greene held the position of president of the Americas for Radisson until Dec. 2, 2019.
