Mövenpick CEO Resigns
Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts CEO Jean-Gabriel Pérès will step down after 17 years in the position. He intends to stay on until a successor is named, which is expected to happen later this year. Then he will serve on MHR's board of directors. During Pérès' tenure, MHR transitioned from a mostly European hotel company with a portfolio of leased properties to an asset-light management company with strong presences in Europe and the Middle East and promising entries into Africa and Asia. MHR has 83 hotels across 24 countries and 20 additional properties in development.
