Jumeirah Group Gains New CEO

Jumeirah Group parent company Dubai Holdings promoted Jumeirah Group president and CEO Gerald Lawless to a new position in charge of tourism and hospitality. Lawless headed the group, best known for its ultra-luxury Burj Al Arab Jumeirah hotel in Dubai, for 18 years. Stepping into his position as Jumeirah Group CEO is Stefan Leser, who joins the luxury hospitality company from Swiss travel business Kuoni, where he acted as executive vice president of its outbound travel and inbound specialist businesses. Leser will assume his new role in February.
