Wei Manfredi
IHG Hotels & Resorts has named former McDonald's and Google executive Wei Manfredi its SVP of AI and architecture, the hotel company announced Tuesday. The move is effective immediately.
Manfredi most recently served as VP of global architecture, data and generative AI at fast food giant McDonald's, and before that served in technology roles with Google, Visa and Nordstrom, among others.
Manfredi will "guide IHG's AI strategy, further strengthen its technical and data architecture, and continue to foster partnerships with leading technology organizations," the hotel company said in a statement. She reports to chief product and technology officer Jolie Fleming.
"By welcoming top talent, IHG is further investing in technology leadership to drive meaningful benefits for its owners, guests and teams," according to IHG.
IHG has deployed AI processes in its contact centers and guest service operations, among other use cases, and has launched a travel planning service to help users book stays within its One Rewards app.
