InterContinental Hotels Group has appointed Mark Sergot as vice president of global sales operations and enablement. He started Monday and is based out of IHG's Atlanta headquarters, reporting to SVP of global sales Derek DeCross. Sergot will be responsible for driving sales and commercial performance and developing solutions across the B2B segment. Previously, he served as chief sales officer for Associated Luxury Hotels International, and before that spent 16 years at FRHI Hotels & Resorts, the parent company of the Fairmont, Raffles and Swissôtel brands, culminating in his role as SVP of global sales prior to the acquisition of FRHI by Accor Hotels in 2016.
