Intercontinental Hotels Group has named Jonathan Kaplan VP of global
sales strategy. Kaplan will develop and manage IHG's global sales programs, as
well as strategies and tools for IHG's corporate transient, travel management
company and groups and meetings clients. Additionally, he will oversee B2B
innovation and solution design strategies for the small and midsize enterprise,
long-term contracts and group and meetings segments. He previously served as
director of global leisure and luxury sales at Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
IHG also appointed Simon Scoot as VP of luxury and lifestyle sales, a pivot
from his prior role as IHG VP of global brand strategy.
