Tamara Lohan
Hyatt Hotels Corp. has named Tamara Lohan, founder and CEO of Mr & Mrs Smith, the travel club and booking platform Hyatt acquired in 2023, as the interim global brand leader of its luxury portfolio, the company announced this week.
Hyatt's luxury portfolio includes about 125 properties under Park Hyatt and other premium brands, according to the company.
Lohan will "guide Hyatt's global luxury brand strategy while elevating brand consistency and guest experiences across Hyatt’s luxury portfolio," the company said in a statement. She founded Mr & Mrs Smith in 2003 as a club whose members received favorable rates and amenities from hundreds of luxury and boutique properties worldwide.
"Tamara brings world-class luxury expertise, and her leadership will further strengthen our ability to differentiate our luxury brands while growing with intent in the markets our guests and owners value most," Hyatt president and CEO Mark Hoplamazian, to whom Lohan will report, said in a statement.
Former vice president and global brand leader for Hyatt's luxury and lifestyle brands Crystal Vinisse Thomas departed the company earlier this year, a Hyatt spokesperson confirmed to BTN.
