Selina, a Tel Aviv-based hospitality startup, has raised $100 million in a Series C financing round led by Access Industries. Grupo Wiese and existing investor Colony Latam Partners also participated. The influx brings the company's total funding to $225 million. Launched in 2015, Selina offers private and shared design-centric accommodations with coworking, recreation, wellness and local experiences, which appeal particularly to Millennial and Generation Z travelers. It operates in 46 locations in 13 countries with more than 22,000 beds open or under conversion. The company plans to open later this year in Miami and New York. Though Selina did not have a figure available for guests who travel for business, a spokesperson said it anticipates this number to increase as it expands to more urban and tourist destinations.
