Hilton Worldwide will launch its upscale Tempo by Hilton
brand outside of the United States with the opening of a property in Belfast,
Northern Ireland, expected by the end of 2026, the hotel company announced.
The Tempo by Hilton Belfast City Centre will be a 144-room
property near the city hall of Northern Ireland's capital, according to Hilton,
which added the property currently is a vacant office building that will be
converted into the hotel. Loughview Leisure Group will develop the property.
Hilton announced the launch of the lifestyle
brand in 2020 and in 2022 opened its
first Tempo property, in New York City's Times Square. Four Tempo
properties currently are open, all in the United States, and Hilton said 52
Tempo properties are in the development pipeline, including the Belfast
property. Three Tempo properties are slate to open this year, in San Diego,
Nashville and Pigeon Forge, Tenn.
