Hilton has appointed Feisal Jaffer to the newly created role of global head of LXR Hotels & Resorts, the luxury collection brand the company launched in 2018. Jaffer joins from the Capella Hotel Group—part of Pontiac Land Group—where he served as SVP for business development, originating and executing new hotel management and investment opportunities. At the same time, he served as SVP of acquisitions and development at Pontiac Land Group, where he led expansion of hotel developments in Australia, the Maldives and the U.S. Jaffer's previous experience includes Host Hotels & Resorts and FRHI Hotels & Resorts, which encompasses the Fairmont, Raffles and Swissotel brands. Accor later acquired FRHI. Jaffer will report to Martin Rinck, EVP and global head of the luxury and lifestyle group for Hilton.
