Hilton has appointed Danny Hughes as EVP and president of the Americas, effective Sept. 4. He will focus on enhancing the managed portfolio and will report directly to Hilton president and CEO Christopher Nassetta. Hughes's previous roles at Hilton include SVP and commercial director for the Americas and SVP for Latin America and the Caribbean. He expanded Hilton's portfolio from one to nine brands across 25 countries and territories in that territory.
