Hyatt named Alice Harrington-Caravello SVP global sales and commercial services, Americas
Veteran hotel industry sales leader Alice Harrington-Caravello
has joined Hyatt Hotels International as SVP global sales and commercial
services for the Americas, she announced via LinkedIn on Friday. Harrington-Caravello
most recently served as vice president account sales and national group sales
for Marriott International, where she spent more than eight years. She moved
over to Marriott after a decade with Starwood, serving in a number of roles
executive roles including vice president of corporate sales. Harrington-Caravello
also was on the opening team for the W Hotel in New York in 2000 and spent nine
years in sales and management roles at that property.
She wrote in her LinkedIn post, “Stepping into this next
chapter fills me with excitement, gratitude, and a deep sense of purpose as I
join the Hyatt family.” After recognizing a number of experiences and business
colleagues who supported her career, she continued: “These collective
