Choice Hotels International this week unveiled the details of a new prototype for its extended-stay Everhome Suites brand.
The new prototype includes an increased guestroom capacity to 120 suites from 114, a Choice spokesperson told BTN. It also decreases per-room development costs by about 13 percent through "refined layouts and material efficiencies," Choice said in a statement, adding that it expects the first groundbreakings for the new prototype "in the coming months."
Introduced in 2022, Choice now has 27 Everhome properties open in the United States, with its most recent openings in late 2025 in San Antonio, Texas, Bowling Green, Ky., and Somerset, N.J. About 40 Everhome properties are in the development pipeline, according to Choice.
"Extended stay continues to be one of the most compelling segments in lodging, and Everhome Suites is a key part of our growth strategy," Choice VP and extended-stay segment lead Matt McElhare said in a statement.
Midscale Everhome is Choice's fourth extended-stay brand, joining MainStay Suites, WoodSpring Suites and Suburban Studios.
